I'm pretty excited for this season to get started, and I thought this would be a good time to share some news. As many of you know, the RX series is being included in the Colorado Cup. This means that we'll have plenty of stage rally cars to compete against at a few of our events. We also have a new site in Calhan which should be fun. There are three other new sites in the works in Denver, Estes Park and Aspen.
The big news this season is the push to recruit new members. We run a very tight ship, and we can easily handle 60 cars per event. I'm offering the following challenge to each of our regular competitors: Bring one new competitor this season. As an incentive, we will give FREE entry to any existing competitor for each new competitor that he/she brings to an event!
SCCA requires all competitors to be members, so non-members will need to buy a membership, either full or weekend. Those of you bringing new competitors can put your name on their membership application as "referred by" and get $5 off your SCCA membership for EACH referral. New members can apply up to two weekend memberships toward their annual membership.
